Yea, I know. Might sound crazy, but part of the draw to vinyl for me is going through record shops, garage sales, flea markets etc. I only buy off Amazon if it is an absolute must have.

    Hey Rick,

Can't decide what I like better, your choice in music or the cover pictures. I have most of the cd's on this page. I was listening to the Jewel cd on the drive back from work. I get the sense that for you, the music comes before the equipment. Just the way it should be .

The mix of the mono Revolver is very interesting! In some ways I like it more than the stereo. Overall, the stereo is better though. Same with Pepper, but Pepper also has some interesting things going on in mono. Hope you are enjoying the mono set Rick!

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

Thanks for the compliment. I really do enjoy the whole experience, from the music, to the equipment, to taking the photos. But it is most definitely, first and foremost about the music and my lifelong love affair with it...

I get to listen to music about 30 hours a week. Of this ~ 75% is in the car and 25% at home. So for me its two things running neck to neck. Letting the music do its thing and getting the damn car to sound and image up like my 2ch. Trust me this is a very frustrating hobby  Oh and for the record, I'm jealous that you get to listen to music at work!!!

That's not such a bad thing. Not when you live in a country where 65% of the population is under 32. The young'uns can be merciless. Right down to my 11 year old girl .
