Night Moves
@pumpkinman kills it yet again. Hadn't listened to this in years. I thought I knew what this album sounded like until I heard it again just now on my refurbed 15TLs, Rogue tube amp and otherwise rebuilt system. Yikes! "Mainstreet" never sounded, or felt, like that before. Same comments re: "Stranger In Town," which, inspired by "Night Moves," I also listened to.
Thanks for a much-needed and great evening of enjoying the music.
Your system sounds wonderful. I would love to hear it sometime. I’m currently using a Rogue preamp in my setup. The Métis and love it.
I’ve owned many models of Polk speakers. 2.3 TL, 3.1 TL, SDA CRS*, Model 10 Model 7A & 7C, 1C, 2A* Lastly the LSi9’s
My favorite was and will always be the 3.1TL’s
* I still own these two.

I am super-happy with it. Times like last night when I can’t believe what I’m hearing let me know everything I’ve done has come together quite well. Much credit goes to members of this forum who have helped me out in numerous ways all along the journey, though. 👍
I have only had Monitor 10Bs and these RTA 15TLs in the Polk line. I know where my 10Bs are at and can get them back if I want them, just have to go see what sort of condition they are in since I let them go ~12 years ago. I may get the urge to try some vintage SDAs one day, but am also intrigued by L600s in the current lineup. Mainly, I’m just glad to be back listening to music and having fun with this hobby again after a very long pause.

Wow, that sure triggered some memories! His debut album was my first record when I was in third grade and I've been a blues lover ever since.
Finally getting a chance to check this one out. Good stuff!
Definitely old school blues. -
Nice! Gotta keep the dust off the dust cover!

I knew if you liked it, I probably would, too!
I think there are at least two of his earlier albums on Apple Music. That’s what’s playing later tonight.

Great album and memories from that era. A lady hired us to play her husband's wake over in Pekin. During our set breaks she'd only wanted Bob Seger playing because he was a huge fan apparently. -
Got a hankering for some Collins, Cray, & Copeland. It's going to be a Showdown. Thanks P-Man, been a while since I gave this one a listen.

Is this it? I feel like you were probably in third grade in 1973! 😝
