First time in a thrift in a year. Only thing I found. VG++ Mono. Decca caught my eye is why I bought. $0.39. I like old country once in a while.

Nice!! That Decca logo was the first thing that popped out at me, too!

Do you use a different cartridge or stylus for mono?

Stereo cartridges on two tables currently in use. Have other tables I could put a mono cart. on, but haven't. I have maybe 100 mono. LP's but really don't listen to them often enough to justify.

    The Moon Without Earth

The Moon recorded two albums in 1968 and 1969 for Imperial. The lineup was Matthew Moore (piano, chief songwriter and lead vocals), David Marks (lead guitar), Larry Brown (drums) and Drew Bennett (bass)

Thanks! I am just recently back into LPs and trying to understand if a mono-specific cartridge is actually a necessity or not. I have a hard time seeing why it would be, especially like you say knowing how infrequent you would actually play a mono record.
