    Anyone else listen to the new M83 album? They seem to be keeping up with solid recording quality, but this is a pretty big departure from their previous sound. I didn't love it on the first pass, but I keep finding myself coming back to it.
    Sounds like a very calm soundtrack to some sort of space odyssey.

    That would be a negatory. I have to say that Rusty Young is a fantastic pedal steel player, I'm not sure why that surprised me. Decent overall on guitar but really good on pedal steel which he played on several tunes.

    Mastered at Masterdisc by Bob Kipper. This and Oh Mercy always sounded great.
    So I bought the 2018 MOFI version of 'Oh Mercy' and the mastering is all wrong!

    Besides Eagles, Poco and all of his other bands:

    Timothy B. Schmit toured with Jimmy Buffett, in 1983, 1984, and 1985 as a member of the Coral Reefer Band, and coined the term "Parrotheads" to describe Buffett's fans.

    I became a "Parrothead" in the mid 70's before I knew what I was.
