Yeah, Rick could rock! Saw him in a little bar in the mid to late 70's called The Rafters, and there were literally people hanging onto the rafters, he blew the roof off the mother! That was after playing with Johnny of course, and maybe Edgar (?) If Rick played with Edgar in the mid-70's I saw him then also but for some reason I can't remember much about that concert. Lol.

I saw him in Sarasota, Florida in '82; Burlington, Vermont in '84; and Colchester, Vermont in '93. "Derringer Live" was my favorite album in high school. (At least after friends of my parents threw my copy of "Kiss Alive II" into their fireplace. In retrospect, they did me a favor.) :'(>:):p

Now listening to Scarface's recent bside release "Deeply Rooted The Lost Files". I'm sure this will lead to some classic Geto Boys records.

The Allman Brothers Band 'Eat a Peach' BMG D-163353 CD
Oddly, the CD says it is made in England. Everything
else is made in USA. Sounds good to me.
Source is a Sony BDP-2000 using the front L/R analog outs
into a Denon 4520ci to 703's. Modest cables.

Just arrived in yesterday’s mail. That was the 1st SACD I played. Really haven’t had a chance to do any critical listening yet. I was looking for a changer for SACD and the price was right at $100 shipped. I bought it from a guy on Audiokarma

Listing to Gentle Giant 'Three Piece Suite' blu-ray.
This is a must get for GG fans or if one is looking to start w/ GG.
In fact, all of the Steven Wilson GG remixes are must have.

    Nice pickup!

    Interesting feature:
You can select a digital filter to reduce noise above 22.05 kHz (for sources with a sampling frequency of 44.1 kHz), 24 kHz (for sources with a sampling frequency of 48 kHz), or 48 kHz (for sources with a sampling frequency above 96 kHz). The Audio Filter can be set to Sharp or Slow. Sharp provides a wide frequency range and spatial feeling. Slow provides smooth and warm sound.

I'm playing w/ the front 5.1 outs with "bass management" on my new to me 2000ES.
