Another one of my grandma’s finds. I wasn’t even expecting much from this one, and I got a lot. :)

    Doyle Bramhall II-Shades

    Per Jesse's Request
Ok you Bramhall II fans it's not as guitar prominent as Jellycream, or Welcome, not as good as his debut. I would say it is a excellent addition to his last one Rich Man. He has a few guests, Eric Clapton, Norah Jones, and The Tedeschi Trucks band are all on a few tracks. If you are a Doyle fan like myself then this one is another fine addition to your Bramhall II collection.

    Eric Gales-Relentless
    Eric Gales-Good For Sumthin

Those of you familiar with Eric know what your getting when you put on some EG, those of you that dont, think Electric Blues, some Fussion and Rock the man is a phenomenal guitarist and has mastered the styles of music he covers. The Relentless album is just that Relentless.

Listening to 89.9 FM classic jazz while I clean up my turntable a bit. I like this station, it’s got a little bit of everything in it. :)

    Trying a F1nut post:
    Listening to Animals-Pink Floyd
    Specifically Dogs
Bass and middle guitar riffs are surrounding me completely. Subtle hints of the piano/organ pop in and out from the background. Transitions into the dog barking actually sounds like it’s coming from outside. Guitars come back in and dominate you he landscape. The new guitar sound really honed on Wish You Were Here.
Back in with the vocals now and the harmonizing in the chorus seems to be almost liquid like.
Love this band for a chill Saturday after one kick **** day or Eggtoberfest and sporting clay shooting (yes both today :) )

Yeah, Rick could rock! Saw him in a little bar in the mid to late 70's called The Rafters, and there were literally people hanging onto the rafters, he blew the roof off the mother! That was after playing with Johnny of course, and maybe Edgar (?) If Rick played with Edgar in the mid-70's I saw him then also but for some reason I can't remember much about that concert. Lol.

I saw him in Sarasota, Florida in '82; Burlington, Vermont in '84; and Colchester, Vermont in '93. "Derringer Live" was my favorite album in high school. (At least after friends of my parents threw my copy of "Kiss Alive II" into their fireplace. In retrospect, they did me a favor.) :'(>:):p

Now listening to Scarface's recent bside release "Deeply Rooted The Lost Files". I'm sure this will lead to some classic Geto Boys records.

The Allman Brothers Band 'Eat a Peach' BMG D-163353 CD
Oddly, the CD says it is made in England. Everything
else is made in USA. Sounds good to me.
Source is a Sony BDP-2000 using the front L/R analog outs
into a Denon 4520ci to 703's. Modest cables.
