It's been years since I've heard that one. I will break it out this next week to listen to it. I really like Wonderful One and Yallah.
Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion."
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

Bought this, Abbey Road, and LED Zeppelin IV during vacation, I’ve listened to the two others already, and this is easily just as good as Abbey Road. Bought all for around $20 on 180g vinyl, and I believe they are older, although not originals. All were still in the original shrink wrap. Play like new, because even though they are old vintage, they are brand spankin’ new.

Nice. I have Rubber Soul on CD, never heard it on vinyl!

Yes they are Monster cables. I’ve had them for a while, although the generic ones I have sound only slightly worse. I’m using them with my CDP right now. They are a little bloated in the low end compared to generic ones, but otherwise they sound a little better. More clarity to the highs and mids, better soundstage, etc.
Vinyl is most definitely the best thing that has ever happened to my system. Even with a scratched-to-heck 40g record, Sgt. Peppers still sounds better on vinyl than CD, although I still listen to the CD because the record skips occasionally. Thanks to all for your help with my vinyl inquiries. I would look for Rubber Soul on vinyl, because it sounds genuinely amazing. Blows the iTunes mp3 out of the water, and although I have never heard it on CD, I imagine it would be the same result. -

^ Interesting to see a fairly recent photo of her. I saw her in the 90's in a small coffee shop. Really like her style. Just ordered her Mississippi Fred McDowell tribute album, recall her playing some Fred McDowell when I saw her. Thanks for posting.
