How come nobody posts in this thread anymore?

Tears For Fears - Songs From The Big Chair

A classic from the eighties in every sense of the word. I am listening to the Deluxe Edition re-issue CD and it sounds great, but if I recall correctly the vinyl sounds absolutely amazing.

Tear for Fears on SDAs sound awesome! I'm not a big fan but my wife played it all the time and when I would be passing by the 2 ch room I would be drawn in to listen with a smile ear to ear.

    :rolleyes:I agree..
Something has happened to the club over the months. Also..

I read in the forum a while back activity comes in waves due to the seasons.
This might be a kind of low for posting what we're playing since alot of people are outside now doing outdoor activities.

I was listening to Mary Chapin Carpenters' .."Stones in the Road" cd (great production)and really like that song..."John Doe #24" alot. It's pretty haunting and sad but very well done.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

I did, this week, however, copy all my audio cd's onto my pc, then copied that onto my office pc and my external hard drive. 122GB of my music that I can listen to anywhere now, and especially, not have to sift through individual cd's each time. It will definitely take quite awhile to hear a repeated song shuffling through 122GB.

    Billy Cobham "Spectrum"

    An instrumental album

Featuring Tommy Bolin on guitar and Jan Hammer on keyboards.
    They have some screamin' solos.

Some really crisp and dynamic percussion solos from Cobham too.

That's a good one, also I like a lot of Tony Williams old stuff.

MFSL: David Bowie; "Let's Dance," LP MFSL 1-083 === Pristine!

Kicks the daylights out of the CD for soundstage, imaging and image depth.

Sorry, was bored at work, of course we all know who played guitar on that album right?;)

Good ole Stevie Ray before he was well known. What a great loss of incredible talent. He couldn't even read music and played from his heart!

Yeah, I often wonder what music would be like today of some of those greats were still around...

The Doobie Brothers: Best Of The Doobies - one of my favorite all time LP's for SDA's

(3 days in on the new Auricaps/Silver Bus Wire/Power Supply/Components in the CJ-PV5 pre and it's opening up nicely, in fact, pure heaven)

You should hear the MFSL Original Master Recording of "Takin' it to the Streets" on SDAs, it gives you eargasms.
