Chums: I played that Nick Cave again last night, its really a well-produced album and of course the lyrics are "killer." Lol
The album that introduced me to Cave. I now have them all on vinyl. Along with Birthday Party & Grinderman. He's up there with Waits, Dylan & Cohen IMO. -

Listened to these about 4 hours ago in this order:

Bob Dylan - Self Portrait CD. Unfortunately (or possibly, fortunately) there is no remaster of this one yet.
Robert Plant and Alison Krauss - Raising Sand CD.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion."
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....
"Green leaves reveal the heart spoken Khatru"- Jon Anderson
"Have A Little Faith! And Everything You'll Face, Will Jump From Out Right On Into Place! Yeah! Take A Little Time! And Everything You'll Find, Will Move From Gloom Right On Into Shine!"- Arthur Lee -
Headrott: I thought Dylan’s Bootleg Series put outa new Self Portrait. With some alternate takes etc.
-
But I’ll also throw the original on.

The Wall, no not that one...the one in front of me as I bang my head against it.
Is there a tone upon impact, or just a dry thud? -

Jack White - Boarding House Reach
Tidal HiFi
"a messy, sprawling, daffy, howling set that sounds spiritually hungry, collectively driven and, instructively, a little bit lost. It's his strangest record, but per usual, it shows his continued devotion to rock's dark arts: the tangled cultural roots, "mistake"-enhanced recording traditions, self-righteous fury and fetchingly-deranged megalomania." - Will Hermes / Rolling Stone

We were so fortunate to see Robin live in Clearwater, FL recently. First concert we'd been to in awhile and arguably one of the best. His mastery of the Strat tone is unparalled and he has lost nothing to age. Sadly, he collapsed after playing an hour of his concert a few days later in Annapolis, MD due to flu-like symptoms. Here's wishing him a speedy recovery and very many more years of amazing artistry.
