Very much a latin percussion thing (which I knew going in). I'd give it 3 of 5 stars after one listen. It may grow on me.

How is that new Trout? Glad to here he survived has his performance weakened at all after his Illness? Gotta get this one.
Still has a strong voice and great guitar licks. The album is (to me) slightly depressing. I know that sounds odd because lots of people think blues is depressing in general. All songs are tied in one way or another to his health issues. But, as the album cover states, he came face to face with death more than once during the period--and made it. If you're a WT fan, as I am, it can't be missed. -
