Very much a latin percussion thing (which I knew going in). I'd give it 3 of 5 stars after one listen. It may grow on me.

Very well engineered. Nearly 180 sound stage.

Still has a strong voice and great guitar licks. The album is (to me) slightly depressing. I know that sounds odd because lots of people think blues is depressing in general. All songs are tied in one way or another to his health issues. But, as the album cover states, he came face to face with death more than once during the period--and made it. If you're a WT fan, as I am, it can't be missed.
