This is music I still enjoy, but haven't listened to recently because I was not satisfied with the SQ.
Today, I finally (after a few week's delay) installed my new-to-me CAT 600.2 dual mono amplifier. My wife and I noticed immediately that the CAT amp produces better distinction among instruments, greater clarity, more realistic timbres, and tighter and more palpable bass with a somewhat less broad soundstage.
The new sound from my system tempted me to try this old favorite once again, and I must say I am not disappointed.
Great sound! The -- at that time -- innovative beauty of Vangelis's composition emerges in fine detail and great depth.
