Got my $100 gift card today.
Thanks Cadillac.
Unlike those Nissan clowns, these guys came through.
Nice car, great dealership, no pressure at all.
Yes, I think it will pay off for them in the long run.
My impression of the dealership and the car are very favorable.
Far better than the local Ford dealer. And Toyota dealers
seem to go out of their way to make me angry.
So what to do with my 100 smackers? Maybe a trip to the local
used cd place.

That's one of 3 or 4 places I like to look. My problem is finding the stuff I like.
There's a place down in Dallas that has everything.
My guess is the Mrs will decide it's time to eat out. We'll see who
    wins that one.

I don't think I'd ever drive a BMW or Mercedes. Not interested, mostly because I'm from that generation that grew up fawning over Cadillacs and Lincolns. Sure they may not be what they used to be. But German? Really?

If I drove one of those the voice in the back of my head would never stop making fun of me, "you" are "driving" a "what"? lol

On the other hand my sister and her husband go through a BMW or M every other year. It's nothing but a "status" symbol for them, ultimately.

As for me, my ultimate status is Doro's location: six feet under!

We got our BMW from Classic BMW as well. No pressure. Great service after the sale. Top notch all the way.

Back to CD's though. I agree Keith, it's a crap shoot to find what you're looking for.

The place downtown has everything- I'll have to look up the name.
Last time I went there I ran up a big tab. Anything you can think of
is there. It's just a matter of remembering what you already don't have.

I won't be buying Caddies, Beamers, Benzs, or Audi anytime soon.
Too much $$$ driving off the lot. A ford f150 however sounds
    about my style.

Went to Lewisville MTC last night and picked up a few CD's. Going to try to make it the Frisco location today.

Well, plan b. Last battery pack for the dewalt crapped out.
Used the $100 towards a new Lthium brushless 20v dewalt hammerdrill.
Anybody need any 18v dewalt stuff?

Yes. I haven't posted much over there, but I've been scouring and trying to read up on issues/mild mods. I've also been trying to figure out how to build in a nice system - it seems like the template is there with built-in 10" subs in the front doors, I just have to figure out how I want to piece it together and make all the OEM stuff still work. To say its been a fun ride is a bit of an understatement so far.

Same for me - just lurking so far on the forum as I got my G37x last month. It's easy to get sucked into the "mod" bug, so I'm just enjoying the car as it is. Even in stock form it is crazy how smoothly it drives and how much power it has!

Mine came with the Bose speakers, and they are not too bad. Would love to upgrade them and add a sub or two, but will probably spend money upgrading the home theater before I do that. From what I've read it sounds like keeping the head unit is recommended and adding/replacing from there.

Got the email from Cadillac last week confirming my gift card was on the way. I never even had to take a test drive. Just visited dealership and talked w salesman for twenty about the new cars and as I left I told him I would stop back and see him when I was looking for a newer used car. I told all twenty guys I work w about the promotion and it is hard to believe that not a one went for the deal? Peace. D

I heard PFB got his, but it was an overall net loss of $400 after he had to pay his deductible because he hit a pole in the parking lot!
