They just released a update on xbox one for the headset adapter yesterday. Does this mean that we can actually use our original mic now? Or was the fix only for the static issues?

As far as I know the update was for static and audio only. I am sure Polk would mention if/when they solve the issue and the update is out for the mic problems.

it did not resolve the audio issues with the mic or allow for monitor of your voice in chat either.

Damnit! that sucks, im glad I have a option with the Boom Mic but I still want the headset to perform the way its suppose to be.
