Thiel Model 04s

I have some older Thiel speakers I have had for ages. I picked these up second hand and have no idea to be honest what they are even worth. I refinished the cabinets and to be honest did a decent job doing so. They do have banana plugs in the rear and a 1.5 amp fuse as well. They sound incredible. I don't have a digital camera or I would take a picture. They have a tweeter and a 5 1/4 inch woofer maybe? The have a large 8 inch passive radiator which were all paper and have begun to rot. I have searched for replacement radiators for these but have not found any. The actual woofer has a rubber surround the cone and is in perfect shape. The sound of these are flawless except for those radiators that I need to replace.
Would anyone be intersted in these? I seriously have no idea what they are worth or if in fact they are worth anything at all. I would also love to know where to get some passive radiators to repair these. I have contacted Thiel but to no avail. Any feedback would be appreciated.

They're worth about $110 / pair

So are they worth keeping? Worth replacing the radiators? I suppose I could always use them in a second room.

Pics, model numbers and location would be helpful.Make it Funky!

Pics... I don't have any as I mentioned above. Model number... all it states is model 04. I think we are talking vintage products here. Location... well they are set up nicely on each side of my rack

I am sure he meant your physical location, as in state, town, hamlet or city park.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Thats a legendary Thiel. Is the radiator itself rotting, or just the surround?
They are worth whatever someone is willing to pay, bottom line.

Thanks for correcting my term ... I should've said the average used price is ...
I believe this model was manufactured in 1976 and has a 6" woofer and 1.5" tweeter. -
Location and price....Inquiring minds want to know.
If you like the sound, repair is always an option.

You see I'm a pure polkie here! Location... I live in Phoenix. I originally picked up the speakers in Aspen Colorado quite a few years back. I worked for a moving company and you would be surprised with the amount of things people no longer want. These being exactly that. The radiator itself wasn't rotting but the surround on them... one of them originally had the smallest tear and I tried smoothing it out with the most delicate of touch and it crumbled right before my eyes. I have tried contacting Thiel but to no avail. I would assume that all radiators work basically the same but we know what happens when we assume.

As far as price I have no idea what they are worth. I love the sound and have thought about repairing them.

I thought BSing was all part of the game!

Do those have the oval or round PRs? Round, you could probably just redo, ovals - good luck.Make it Funky!

Round PRs... I wanted to replace them with Thiel PRs but no such luck. I will end up replacing them though. Seems like they might be worth that much. I really do enjoy the sound and they would make a great pair of B speakers for an extra room.

Thanks for the welcome too!
