Sometimes collecting LP's can break you as much as buying equipment. And trying to stop buying new LP's at new LP prices!

I believe the mono box may trump the MoFi. Getting strong reviews.

I've spent way more on music than I ever have on gear. Now that's not saying I haven't spent a lot on gear because I have. Just way way more money spent on the music. At one time I had 500 plus 8-track tapes which are now long gone. (to many formats over the years) My wife and I were discussing my buying habits and she agrees with me that I need to dial it down a bit. So between now and the release of the Beatles Mono Box coming out in Sept. (A must have for any Beatles fan) I'm going to make only one trip a month to my favorite watering hole. I would go out every weekend to one or more shops record hunting and spending as much as $400 in a month which is nuts and must stop. I hope I have the will power to do so.

Vinylitis is an addiction and I've got it bad. Thank God I don't drink or smoke or I would surely be broke. Pumpkin.gif

and don't think you can hang out in the dollar vinyl section for ever either.
Today may be the Who Quadrophenia in 5.1 day but then that is it. No more music purchases.

But this Mono set is going to be better then the Stereo set I have, just not a fan of earlier stereo. That why I picked up the Dylan mono box set :)

The only box set I currently own is a Beatles set I bought back in 88 while I was in London at HMV iirc. Huge store! Bought two Syd Barrett LP's too.

    Top Blue one:

Love it. It even has a double label mistake.

I'd like to get the Stereo and Mono ones that are out there.
