a free Boom Mic is nice But...

Let me start by saying that I am super satisfied with the audio quality of the Xbox One Polk 4s. The sound is amazingly crisp and they sound even better when I use them with my iphone.
Of course we are all well aware that the mic is not functioning as it was meant to. Now, I think it's nice that Polk Audio is shipping out BOOM MICs to help amend things. BUT, is the mics functionality going to get fixed?
I decided to buy the Polk 4s over Astros and Turtle Beach because of their aesthetic design. The Polks just look "sexy". Since Polk Audio advertise how they worked side by side with microsoft to create a headset that would produce sound as the game designers intended, to they won me over.
So, I am really crossing my fingers here that the problem will get fixed. If I wanted a headset with a boom mic I would have bought turtle beaches.
PS: Has anyone received their BOOM MIC? I registered mine 3 weeks ago and I still haven't received anything.

Polk working with Microsoft was the first mistake imo.--Gary--
Onkyo Integra M504, Bottlehead Foreplay III, Denon SACD, Thiel CS2.3, NHT VT-2, VT-3 and Evolution T6, Infinity RSIIIa, SDA1C and a few dozen other speakers around the house I change in and out. -
not polk's fault its the beta one box that's the problem come on guys how many issues has the xbox one had since its came out
