    There is a market for them. I also collect them. That price is a bit steep though. I have seen conion fetch that but usually not the fisher.

    Yea they are highly sought after, the Houston area, 3rd ward area.
    The chance to find one that is one owner and in pristine condition
    is difficult due to the fact it is usually traded or pawned many times
    by previous owners to satisfy certain personal habits. Just kidding OC.

    There are 2 good boombox sites. Stereo2go & boomboxery. There is a larger market for working vintage blasters then people would think. Most left are trashed, missing parts, deck not working, painted, or just beat up. How many have also been thrown away?

    Besides they look cool LOL.
