    Wow, interesting.

Probably a good choice to draw a different crowd than Jimmy or Jimmy.

I'll be interested to see what his non-political nightly show looks like. I don't always agree with Jon Stewart's politics, but I enjoy his show more than Colbert's.

That was quick. I think Colbert might need to make a few "adjustments" to bridge Letterman's audience with his current audience to make it all "work". It's possible and I do like Colbert's humor but in different ways than I like Letterman's humor. Definitely a new generation of late night comedy. Oh, and I am glad to see Leno is finally retired. I never did find him funny and surely not deserving of being the one to take over when Carson left.

Jimmy Kimmel & Guermo, Uncle Frank, and crew shouldn't have any worries as the other two shows will never be as entertaining as Jimmy Kimmel live.

Leno came close, and he is a wonderful guy to hang out with over at BigDog, but nobody can touch Carson. I don't watch any late-nite anymore.

The last Latenite I watched was back when Chevy Chase(and you're not:lol:) gave it a go.

+1. But then he annoyed me because he talked while they were playing. Should have given it to Conan, although he may be happy (and bound to a contract) on TBS.

I'm a huge fan of Colbert but I don't like this move. I think we need a Colbert Report on tv and I assume that's going to go away given this move. That show fills a very particular comedic gap for me that I don't think we'll get when he moves to CBS.

Bad move for Colbert, CBS, or the world of comedy?
