In case you got your head under a rock (or maybe you just don't care.. which is cool too). The grammy's are on CBS in HDTV and DD 5.1 if you can get it.

Wondering if someone will try another stunt tonight?

WTF was that on top of Christina Aguilera's head? I'm talking about that black rat's nest that resembles hair!

    Good lord!

Tomorrow on E Tv they'll be calling her hair the greatest style of the 21st century.

I think the HO Bag should be held down and given a military buzz cut! :D

Show has been kind of weak so far. That White Stripes show with the chick drummer was cool though. Them psychedelic lights reminded me of some 70's Black Sabbath video.

The stunt of the century has been witnessed.... A celebration of art and talent turned into a leftest political rant that had absolutely no place and made no sense. Just goes to show the greed and idiocy of the leaches exploiting the artists and they somehow think it is for their own good.

and BTW, if it were not for the funds thrown into research and the hard sciences the digital domain would not be where it is today.

    You tell'em HBomb.

I never watch the Grammy's because I don't want that rancid smell to come out of my TV set.

I watched the Grammys only because it was broadcast in HDTV. i usually stay away from it otherwise.

    I have a question I don't quite understand.

Coldplay won for record of the year with Clocks.

Luther Vandross won song of the year for Dance with my father.

    what is the difference here?

Isn't song of the year the same as record of the year? I just don't understand the difference.

One's a single, the other is an album.....I think.

When I saw the commercial that they were somehow recognizing the Beatles for their 40th anniversary of their Ed Sullivan appearance, I got out my copy of The Beatles 1 and gave it a spin instead of watching the show (a much better use of my time IMO).

    Frank,

I don't think thats the right answer.. because they also award for the best album of the year.

so song of the year and record of the year to me seems like it would be the same thing.

    who knows.

I think Record of the year is the best song that originates from a album, while song of the year is released as a single?

Who the eff knows. But that is what was explained to me.
