A few months ago I bought a pair of Raytheon 6sn7gtb. The seller packed them REALLY bad like in a sandwich bag box with little to no padding. The box was trashed real good how they made it unbroken I can't answer as the box was crushed. The next day I tried them in my CD3 buffer they rang like church bells. I could talk next to them and you could hear it through my speakers. Kind of cool but not what anyone wants to hear from NOS tubes. Yesterday a good friend came by and was checking out the buffer. I was explaining the pitfall the best I could so I decided to toss in the Raytheons to show him one of the pitfalls low and behold they would not do anything no ringing, micro phonics gone played just like they should....
any idea's I'm pretty certain that micro phonic tubes do not go back to good tubes do they?

That is strange and no, I've never heard of a microphonic tube healing itself. Any chance they were stone cold frozen when you received them?Political Correctness'.........defined
