    These are definitely awesome surround speakers but for $200 they can also serve another very valuable purpose.

    The drivers in the f/x1000 speakers are the same drivers used in the RT3000p satellites and the CS1000p center speakers. So if nothing else, for $200 you would get two spare tweeters and 4 spare midrange drivers for your RT5000 system. The drivers are no longer available from Polk and you would have a very hard time finding perfectly voice-matched replacements for that price.

    Great! glad someone was able to pick them up. If my new HT Room was situated to allow for wall-mounted surrounds, I would have never sold the 2 pairs of FX1000's I had.
