Any thoughts?

I've done a lot of digging, but wanted to see if anyone here had any ears-on experience with them. I am considering one with a partial trade for my current table.

I know its not Made In America like the VPI, but I like the look quite a bit.

Thanks,
Paul

It would have been my choice in the $1500 category, had I followed thru.

Not yet - but FWIW, I do have a Marantz TT-15S1 (which was a tarted-up OEM version of the previous generation's Clearaudio Emotion) and it is well made and a decent performer. If I had it all to do over again, though, I probably wouldn't have bought it -- it's boxed up in the back of the hifi room; just takin' up space.

I like the VPI products (just sayin')...

You wouldn't have bought it because you have too many? Or because it was not a great table.

It's an OK table - not bad for the $ (ca. $1500 when new, with arm and cartridge)... it's not well suited to the direction I am moving, slowly but surely, for vinyl reproduction.

... and I'm currently using a low compliance MC cartridge (Denon DL-103) which wouldn't be happy in the CA "Satisfy" arm.

(as an aside, I was mammothly unimpressed with the wood-body CA "Virtuoso" MM cartridge that was bundled with the TT-15S1. I don't know if it was representative of the MM CA cartridges (then or now), but it was pretty uninspiring in sonics for its nominal $800 price)
