Most people go to Florida and bring home a sun tan. Nope, I brought home VINYL!

I went to four different record stores in the greater Tampa area, and brought home 125 discs! Went to all three locations of Sound Exchange (Tampa, Pinellas Park, and Brandon) as well as Kingfish Records at the Oldsmar flea market. Shipped them all home via Media Mail. My vacuum machine is about to get a heck of a workout!
Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

Nice but you know you will receive a lack of Sunshine bill from Florida.

Other than the one in front (that Bobby Zimmerman guy) and what appears to be a copy of The Concert for the People of Bangladesh - the identities of your new albums are not readily discerned ;-) Care to expound a little?

Wow, that's some impressive sleuthing on your part, to pick out the Concert for Bangladesh! Yes, that's what it is!
I'm at work but I'll post later tonight.Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance. -
I'm going w/ Kiss, CCR, Aqualung, and maybe Bob Seger double live

Negative on the CCR. All others are correct. Let's just make this a contest - who can guess the most albums I bought in Florida?!?!Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

Think I see a Jethro Tull Aqualung in there also....

big orange box set -- two of 'em sittin' in the room where I am typing this (one of which was purchased new, by me, at Hutzler's in Baltimore way back when)!
Any copies of Whipped Cream and Other Delights or Color Me Barbara?

Nice eye, Mark! I recently added that one (and its distinctive orange box) to my collection when I carted six linear feet (shelf space) of vinyl I was coerced into taking home along with a Micro Seiki TT I picked up locally.
Enjoy your cleaning! I've got to order some new velvet "lips" for my Nitty Gritty before taking on that same task here.Jay

Don't feel bad, every time I go to New Orleans I end up shipping back a box of vinyl from a great little shop, and I do the same in Berkeley. In fact just recently bought a bunch in Green Bay at a new record shop having a half price sale when I was visiting a friend. First place we went upon arrival. That shop in New Orleans has great country blues and the owner is a super-knowledgeable guy on local small label stuff you never see elsewhere. That's half the fun of going somewhere, looking through the local record shops.
