Marantz AV7005 SE Pre/Pro - Price: $750 shipped
The Marantz AV7005 is a feature packed pre/pro with exceptional sound quality. It has 6 HDMI 1.4 inputs, 2 HDMI outputs, Audyssey XT, high quality video scaling or pass thru, and a slew of legacy components. This pre/pro was the golden standard when I purchased it used two years ago. In addition, this specific unit has had the Signature Edition upgrades by The Upgrade Company, which includes upgraded shielding, capacitors, wiring, and dampening. As I purchased this unit with the upgrades already in place I do not have a full list of exactly what was done.
Condition:
I am the second owner of this lightly used pre/pro and would rate it 7/10 on the Agon scale. The face is clean but there are some light scratches and scuffs on the unit, most noticeably on the rear of the top and on the rear. Functionality wise it is perfect, never had an issue.
