I am new to Polk forms and have a few question. I am not sure if I have Polk SDA 2's or SDA 2A's... I have looked a picture of different people post a nothing matches up to what I have. I will upload picture of both front and back of my speakers. Thanks!

pick a speaker Left or Right and pull left and right drivers SDA2a will have 2 X MW6510..... SDA2b will have 1 mw6503 and 1 MW6511....... Plain old SDA2 will have 3 drivers in each cabinet and 2 tweeters on top of the drivers

IF you have SDA2b do not mix up which side the drivers came out of for best results...

Welcome to the forum. Pictures will help tremendously.

SDA 2s: 2 stereo mids, 1 stereo tweeter, 1 dimensional mid and 1 dimensional tweeter per speaker.

SDA 2As and 2Bs: 1 stereo mid, 1 tweeter and one dimensional driver per speaker.

    And when in doubt, http://gimpod.com/sda-id.html

    Try this:

How to post pictures here on the forum:

Select "test" from the box at the bottom left of this page.
    1. Click the button in the editor menu that looks like a picture of a tree. A box will popup that says "Select Image".
    2. Click the button at the bottom of the box that says "Select Files".
    3. Another box will popup that allows you to find files on your computer.
    4. Navigate to your picture on your hard drive, click it once to select it, and click the "Open" button.
    5. Click the "Upload Files" button.
    6. In a few seconds the popup box will close and your photo will appear in your post.

    Hope this helps.

Are you using the blue forum template or the Red/Gray template? The toolbar in the message editor is missing when I try to use the Red/Gray template but it is there if I use the blue "test" template. I think others are having the same problem.

I'm not aware of test template.
I just use reply (whatever template that defaults to) and click on manage attachments just like I did in this post.
Then click on 'add files' and then select files followed by 'upload files'. Done.
If it doesn't show inline, I just add them inside image tags but they always appear on the bottom as links regardless.
Works fine and never had any issue.

I hate to hijack this thread but maybe this will help someone post photos. Below is an image of the blue "test" template I was talking about. It explains what my previous post was referring to when I posted instructions for adding a photo from the toolbar. The toolbar should be showing in the Red/Gray template as well but for some reason it doesn't on my computer. Both, the way you describe, and the way I describe should work for posting photos.

Hey, TennMan, that works pretty slick. Even I can do that! Here's a picture of my dog, Frankie, for all to enjoy.

And so I'm not thread jacking, to the OP, no need to upload pics, just follow what ZLTFUL said above and you'll be able to identify whether you have SDA-2s or SDA-2As.
