I am trying to construct a little step by step set of screenshots here to help post images uploaded to the 'new and improved' version of Flikr -- "improved" just last week... gee, thanks, Yahoo... :-P

    Those of you -- us :-P -- who use Flikr to host photos may have noticed an "upgrade" a week or so ago to Flikr's interface for managing photos to insert into various applications. I guess it's great for Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, or even e-mail, but for a VBulletin Forum like Club Polk - it's gotten rather more cumbersome... I guess this is the 21st Century understanding of progress ;-)

    I am trying to help out some Flikr-neophytes with a little tutorial (one might call this "the blind leading the blind"...). I was collecting screen shots yesterday to build the tutorial... this necessitated actually posting a photo someplace... so I posted it here. :-)

    (It made a lot more sense to me before I tried to explain it)!

    At any rate, here's a sample screenshot from Flikr -- suitably "redacted" to protect the innocent!

    ... and, yes, the speaker is an ADC of some sort...

    For a moment there I thought you were working on "levitation" because the speaker seemed to be floating above the carpet. But the illusion was broken when I caught sight of the metal framework elevating it. lol

    For absolute full disclosure I'm the neophyte Mark is talking about. Embarrased, sure but if I could get jiggy w/ Photo Bucket why not this faccata service. I politely p/md doc Hardy and he was really gracious and lord knows patient with me.I'm in their system, I have what I would call a library of various shots of audio **** and can get no further. On PB you pick the pix you want to display right click on properties and(ok) then copy picture in one of the 4 mal formats that's listed to the right. The word copied turns yellow for a mili second and then it's (pasted) to whatever forum you want to present the picture on and it worked. The rersolution or reproduction on Flickr looks great and I wanted in and that's as far as I got. Not one picture pated to any other site. Yes those are my ADC ax w/ metal off-set stands that went w/ the JBL J-2060. Also that side of the room does not look like that any more w/ the addition of the DCM TF350s.You have no idea how I mitchered MHardy and is still trying to nail this down for me.Most of you know I'm still in the 3rd grade as far as computer science so this will be a bumpy ride. Thanks doc. The next step I will go to my library where on Saturdays they have students who help old ladies and morons like me for college credits, hey it worked for Photo Bucket why not Flickr. Your computer challanged friend Lew........

    No,nothing at all except this thread. See there are forces working against me. And yes on post #6 you see my "library" and those 5 ways of I guess mailing the pix whch I do not get. What's the Phillies logo doing there among Twitter (don't have), Facebook (rarely use any more),T? and mail. I haven't the slightest idea wtf is going on.

    The "P" is another web thingy called "Pinterest" - that's about all I can tell you about that!
