I was so pissed after reading this, more evidence of how bad Clinton hurt our military.

Clinton? Pffft.
I say that's Jimmy Carters fault.
Now, where's my Billy Beer!!!Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service. -
It takes a helluva lot longer to rebuild than it does to tear down. Carter did the same damn thing, Reagan rebuilt our armed services, but it took the better part of 8 years. We weren't at war then either. Clinton had 8 years to hamstring the military, and gut the CIA. We've got a long way to go before we're at the level we should be, IMHO.

I agree with reimbursing them for armor vests, but stuff like gloves, etc. I dunno. Should the government (aka me and you bankrolling the government) pay for all the soldiers down there who wear Oakley's ?
EDIT: maybe they should? esp. if it gives them a tactical advantage (all those blue-eyed sensitive americans) It just seems to me like this is just an abberation in a well funded military. It was my impression that soldier's lives were a very high priority, worth the expenditure and possible loss of million dollar equipment. Maybe I've just seen black hawk down one too many times.

Yeah, I heard Clinton had thousands destroyed.:rolleyes:Make it Funky!

Dude thats messed up. Im a conservative and it just kills me to see Bush trying to get to mars when i feel that there are so many unresolved issues at home and all our brothers and sisters over in the middle east.:( But he's still better than any of the libbs and like he said we need to stay the course on the war.Wish I was a polkologist then I could call my self Dr.warviper.

The fact of life that I know for sure is that AMERICAN POLITICIANS are the biggest bunch of liars in the World.
If you listen to speeches by politicians from the 20's 30's 40's 50's 60's and on and on to the present, they all say the same BS. You only need to change a few key words. The speechs are ALL the SAME.
Check it out. -
George Bush's brain has been wired directly to the Mars rover....he is drilling rocks at this very moment.
I like Bush, but he has been out to lunch for months.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint. -

I think we need to go back to the days where the presidents were normall people, not gromed politicians. get someone with intelligence and common sense. recruit cantidates from the rosters of MENSA if needed, just get smart people in office. I have nothing personall against bush but the dude's just plain stupid, i wouldn't want him changing the oil in my car, let alone running my country. it's not like gore was a better option though... of the democrats trying to get the nomination i think leiberman was the best cantidate but he lacked the charisma to get the votes. he has the most experience dealing with politicians and he's a genuinely intelligent person as well.Hemi: (HEM -e) adj.
