Hit 3999 hrs. on my PJ bulb and swapped it out. According to the hr. meter on the menu display, it was at about 7/8 of the way the to the end of it's life, but didn't want to wait for the bulb to explode and have mercury contaminate my HT.
I guess your getting old when you start celebrating stuff like this. I plan on giving the new bulb a serious viewing session this weekend...

Hell yeah! I love watching movies on a projector. So much better than LCD or Plasma. I can't wait to have my own place so I can setup a proper ceiling mount projector & screen (or specially painted wall area).

I own a JVC projector.. doubt I'll ever hit that many hours before needing to replace the lamp...
