If your bedroom has got too many LED lights, or they are too bright.... thinkgeek has your solution.

eeb6_lights_dims_led_light_blocker.jpg

I just ordered 2 sets of the dimmer ones, not the blackout ones. Our bedroom has the Uverse Router, a wireless base, and an Alarm system. These should help.

I also plan to use them on the LED's on my Sunfire and Pangea PSU and maybe DacMagic in my office setup. Some of them you can turn the LED's off, but I need some of them at full blast to see whats going on, while others I dont need lit up that much.

Anyway figured I would share should someone have need of them.

I've found that the two work well in tandem. :)

I am using these - got a set a year ago. Couldn't move the router from the front corner of the room after we installed the projector screen, and it had the annoying flashing white LED on top - one of these stickers fixed the 'issue'.

I dont disagree Tony, but turning everything off in the bedroom at night isnt really an option, ESPECIALLY the alarm lights . Some things you just cant turn off or it defeats the purpose.

In my 2 channel, turning off the Sunfire is easy to do, same with the Parasound. The Pangea PSU is always on, even if the DacMagic isnt, and IIRC the DacMagic cant be controlled via remote (and since I am lazy) I just leave it on 24/7. The APC H15 if turned off is totally worthless as a surge protector, so its got to stay on as well. I can at least dim the APC's brightness down though so its not as big a deal.

Again dont disagree, but that totally COVERS the lights. I still need to see them (so I dont set off the Alarm and call the Pokies), just dont need them to be as bright as the sun.

Depends on the purpose Dan, if the purpose is sleep...the on/off switch works great. Lights on alarm clocks....here's a trick I use. Turn it around so it faces the wall and not beam the light out into the room. Also, if sleep is the purpose.....closing your eyes makes a great dimmer too...LOL.

Alarm CLOCKS yes, the ADT Alarm System mounted to the wall.... no.....

This is more for my wife than myself. She's not been sleeping well due to all the 50 million LED lights going on all over the place. Done our best to do what your suggesting, but hopefully these fix those things we cant turn off.

Well let just say I do understand what you need to do. Now I do not know the specifics of your APC, But I've yet to come across a surge that will jump a switch and if it does it won't matter what you have in the way(APC) as it most likely will toast all in its path. IF surges could jump a switch I'm sure your lights that are off will come on/off as that surge jumps the switch.
Not saying it can't happen just I have never heard of it happening.
