Nice Rotel RC 990 Preamp

I'm putting up for sale this Rotel pre that I purchased through the thread below. The unit has mostly been boxed up since I received it, but I did use it a couple of times with my Adcom GFA-555ii and it sounded fine. I have since had my Luxman tuned up and now pair it with the Adcom when I want a change from my Yaqin. I don't know if there's a discernible difference between the Rotel and the Luxman but the Lux was my first higher-fi stereo purchase and as such it has sentimental value.

I'm selling simply because I don't need the unit and could use the cash better elsewise.

Price is still $185 plus actual shipping with no PayPal fees if funds are designated a gift.

I may be interested, if can find a cheap remote for volume control. A few people state after market remotes will work? Any idea what remotes they are referring to?

Hi, bob. I don't know about the remote but I've read the same thing in several places.

Perhaps pm the guy who sold it to me? Or post a new thread asking that question and I'm sure we'll get lots of knowledgeable responses back.
