A little early Spring cleaning. I might regret getting rid of some of these tubes, but honestly the hunt is just as much fun as the rolling. Even moreso sometimes. What I have listed here are either triplicates or tubes that I can no longer use since the gear is gone.

I was going to keep a nice stash forever but realized I have soooooooooo many tubes I can't possibly use them all.

First up is for DARED SL-2000A owners

1958 Sylvania JHS-12AT7WA (Gold Brand) pair, 3 mica, gray plate w/slanted square getter, copper grid posts, steel pins. Tested as NOS, closely matched. You won't find a nicer pair $50/shipped

1961 GE 5 Star (*****) 5965 pair - gray long plate, copper grid posts, halo getter. These are strong and sound really good. Always liked the GE 5 star line, they are more robust since they are part of their "broadcast" line. Note: I recommend using tube dampers with these types of long plate tubes just in case you experience some microphonics. $35/shipped

1960 GE (IBM label and box) 5965 pair - gray long plate, copper grid posts, halo getter. NOS as IBM parts inventory. 5965's are rated for industrial/computer use, very robust and long life. I put maybe 20 hours on these. Note: I recommend using tube dampers with these types of long plate tubes $35/shipped.

1959 Bendix JAN CEA 6106 (5Y3) Rectifier - Built for military radar installations and built like the proverbial brick $h*t house. Long warm up heater, the best 5Y3 rectifier made. Should last several lifetimes. Original packing - $40/shipped. Added a photo because it's a cool looking tube.

1960 Valvo ECC83/12AX7 pair - gray plate, small halo getter, made in Heerlen Holland. Fantastic tube, lots of air, nice mids, solid bass, among the best of the short plates. These have lots of life left and sound great. I have so many pairs of Holland tubes. $60/shipped

1966 Sylvania JAN CHS 6SL7WGT pair - short brown micanol bases, black plate, halo getter, green ink, deep, thick chrome domes. These are the brother to the famous Sylvania 6SN7 "chrome domes". Somehow I ended up with 3 pairs plus a single of these so I'm selling 1 pair. These are one of my favorite 6SL7's. The intimacy of the soundstage makes you feel like you are in the front row and the detail is intoxicating. $40/shipped

1970's Siemens ECC85/6AQ8 pair - gray plate, thick halo getter, made in Germany, military falcon logo. These are used in the HCT/Dared MP5 and Fatman amps. Original boxes, almost NOS as I put about 60 hours on them. I know realize I have 3 Siemens pairs and don't need them all. $30/shipped

1960's RCA 6211 pair - long gray plate, halo getter, extra support. Nice sounding 12AT7 or 12AU7 alternative. Original boxes, 1 from 1963; 1 from 1969, identical construction. Nice soundstage $25/shipped.

1980's Siemens EL34 pair - After some long research I am certain these are the last of the Tesla made E34L's before JJ took over the tooling, etc. These handle sightly more power than the standard EL34 and have nicer, more solid bottom end and very thick glass envelopes. These can also be found as Teslovak E34LS. By the 80's Siemens was just relabeling tubes, not producing them.

Also of note is Siemens never made their own EL34, most of the 60's and 70's EL34's are East German sourced from RFT w/stapled plates or some were even original Telefunken's. These have welded plates, black bases and very thick glass envelopes and a round top. The RFT sourced Siemens had a dimple in the dome. I bought these from a tube dealer in England as NOS, matched. I put about 50-60 hours on them when I have the Norh SE9 integrated amp. These and the SED =C= are my favorite EL34. $65/shipped

I think that's all for now. I might have some 12AU7's to sell as well, but I am checking with another Polkie to give them first shot, as I previously promised.
