Thanks to a heads up from ambiophonics, picked up these early SDA 2s.
10150604_10203575787464348_1418576162_n.jpg

Got them for $100 and a 4 hour drive round trip.
All drivers work great and aside from the bases, the cabinets don't need all that much attention.
No cable with them (blade/blade) but I will get my hands on one ASAP and go from there.

So ZLTFUL your the quick one on the draw from Des Moines, enjoy them, the seller was not sure what model SDA's they were when I asked him he said they were pin blade so I assumed they were 2bs, did he tell you the story on how he ended up with them? Don't worry Steve I will keep an eye out for you. With the guy from Iowa that got those 2.3 TL s out of the Twin Cities and the rest of us Iowans we should have us our own Polk Fest, heck we could even invite some of those Minnesotan's.

I also watch Milwaukee. My father lives in West Bend, so easy enough to Paypal him money for a quick pick up should I see something I can both afford and need.

I believe both Steves are located on the east side of the state (Quad Cities and NE Iowa somewhere respectively).

If I could kick my wife and kid out for a weekend, we could do 3 rooms and I could supply all of the gear for a IA Polk Fest lol.

very nice.... great place for a vacation home. I am in Waterloo... pretty much a crap hole, but there are some nice things around the area, I have stable work for a small business... and a quiet life.
Until my wife leaves and I get speaker time......
