Were the Peerless tweeters used in the early Monitors and RTAs the same or did some have different electrical characteristics (e.g DCR and impededence)? If so, where can I find the electrical characteristics.

afaik, they were the same although some were Danish and others were made in USA...

I believe the holes were a Polk thing as IIRC Keith said Polk did it for venting the voice coil. -
the Best way i have found is the peerless is a small hole in the middle of there dome i think is a give away that's it's an older setThere is no cure....
