So I've been tweaking my system for a while now since I when the Jriver route; and the last couple of days been sitting around after work just listening and thinking wow this sounds great completey happy. And then I noticed that the subwoofer was unplugged and had been for a couple of weeks (the wife of course).
Now I'm not a big bass guy in the first place but up till I installed the Jriver I felt that I needed the sub. 2.1 when listening to tunes.
I wasn't expecting this but or maybe after a couple of weeks without a sub I've gotten used to the sound but anyway I like it two channel rocks.
Cheers
Roger

I just started to use JRivers and the improvement in Jazz and Classical is right on. Still tweaking on drivers ASIO and WASAPI. No DSP just direct. Really liking it. Hope their Mac version provides the same results.W4S SX-1000, Adcom gfp-750, Polk 1.2tl, W4S DAC 2 DSDse, 2012 mac mini (mod), JRivers ver. 19, WD Cloud NAS 2 t.b., Monster Cable AVS-2000 signature, Doug's Alpha I/C & Doug's biwire 6' speaker cables
