This one I 'm going to demo one tomorrow if it sounds like I think it will, then it will be the perfect match for the Samsung UHD9000 and my Oppo 105D. This hobby is time consuming I have been reading reviews and demoing AVRs for weeks. I will be glad when its over and I can just relax does anyone own any Integra stuff?

    I was looking at integras as well. A friend of mine has has a couple of them. I have always liked their sound. Audiogon has some integras. Pretty good deals

    Yeah searching for AVR's is tough just when you think you found one you find another one arrrgh. I Demoed a Onkyo tx NR929 the other day liked that one a lot then the sales guy said to come back on Monday and listen to the integra he will have one ready to demo. I've been reading a lot of good reviews on them.

    Good on you for considering the 929. I was going to suggest one step up on the Integra, two more channels and better Audyssey processing.

    The 929 will give you the option of running an 11.4 through pre-outs. Either way you're getting a fine AVR.

    Oh yeah, here's another wrench in your works, Acc4less can get you the ONK 3010 refurb with the option to get extended warranty. With that model, you're getting a 9.2 with 11.4 pre-outs and XT32 with Sub EQ, all for a fraction of the price brand new.

    You had me searching the 3010 sounds like a beast would be what I'am looking for but it wont do 4K pass through. do want Multi EQ x32 so Back to the Tx nr929 or the Integra.

    I would go Pioneer Elite SC79 over the Oinker. I heard them both WITH your tv in one of the sound rooms at work, and the Elite was better at processing video signals.
    Another I would consider is the Yamaha Aventage CX-A5000, paired with the amp of your choice...

    I hope this receiver don't have the same pre-amp section (processor) of the INTEGRA DHC-60.5 preamplifier-processor because I have front of my eyes the mag "sound&vision" of december2013 and the DHC-60.5 have a BAD review about audio-performance (only 2.5 stars on 5!!!!!!!!)

    Now, if i'am you, I really don't want to buy this amp!...If the processor DHC 60.5 is a bad sounding stuff, I sink your future INTEGRA DTR-50.5 can't sound better!

    If you only need 7.x, you may want to give the Anthem MRX 510 a listen. Thought it sounded really good myself.

    The ONLY person I remember seeing on this forum who's ever seemed completely happy with their setup was cfrizz............and she was recently seen at the plastic surgeon's office............................looking into a new rack!

    A friend of mine is a dealer and installer and recently stopped selling Integra receivers/pre-pros because he grew tired of pulling defective ones from customers' setups. He now recommends the Anthem MRXs to customers looking for a good AVR.

    Listened to the integra and was somewhat pleased, a place in town that is trying to sell me a Yamaha Avantage RX 1030 gladly decided to hook it up to a Cambridge CD player and a pair of RTIA7' s for me they didn't have any A5' s out of the box. That 1030 at 110 watts did a fantastic job pushing those A7' s I did not notice any brightness whatsoever. I listened to Aja for at least 20 minutes, told them I would sleep on it. I got home made up my mind on ( drum roll ) the winner is the Yamaha Avantage RX 3030 from worldwide Stereo. I think that beast will handle all my RTIA' s null problemo. Any Yamaha Fanboys on the Forum? I'm getting closer that light at the end of the rabbit hole is ever so near.
