Music Server Advice

I've purchased a Vortexbox and am now looking to add genres to my Logitech Music Server, beyond the ones already provided. For instance, if I own the complete collection of Prince CD's and wish to name a genre "Prince," how would I go about it? I received a recommendation to download the program MP3tag, but each time I begin to download it my computer detects a Trojan, malware, or other undesirable components. Is this a valid program for adding genres to the Logitech Music Server? Is there a better program? Does anyone have a link to a program that won't cause havoc on my computer?

Thanks for your suggestions.

Tag&rename is very good and will populate tags based on folder structure and file name, very handy...

    Danny,
What manipulations have you done to make it easier to join content in compilation albums with multiple artists, ie soundtracks, best ofs, etc...I use JRiver any advice
