Can the melee be used on xbone using optical & chat adapter?

Yes you can connect it to your xbox one using the optical audio out. but You still need the adapter for chat functionality. Not sure exactly how the melee connects that way though.

Maybe try 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter cable ordered Melee might try it after they patch adapter for X-BOX ONE...
