The most aesthetic of the Minimus series with the WOOD veneer as designated by the "w" in 7w. I have a pair I run with an STA-111 receiver that is made for them.

A little Howard's brings them back to full glory. They're cute!

Now you mentioned it, I have to double check if it's W or just veneer.
    Will take pics soon.

Should be real wood veneer, not all wood. As underneath is pressed wood or particle board--the standard. At least I'm pretty sure there was never an ALL wood exterior.

There are several versions though. There are some that have a wood veneer face as well as the sides which mine and the first picture above do not. If I'm not mistaken, these are the most rare.

I think (?!) that the non-metal version of these is actually marginally better sounding, too... just a semi-informed opinion, though :-)
Nice speakers for the asking price (also my opinion, of course)!

There are people who collect these guys. I sold a wood pair to a lady and she was psyched about finding the wood model!
