effective way to clean grills ?

I have these ADC 303ax for sometime now and for some reason the grills which I bought like this are starting to bother me. Why now after years of ownership,I don't know. I did refreshen the cabinets w/ Watco Danish MediumWalnut Oil and they are looking much better than before. I think the offending schmutz is candle wax because both grills are effected in different places. Candles,kids, cats and plants should be banned near speakers.

    For wax try putting ice cubes on the area and after it's really cold try gently scraping it off.

    The old ice on wax trick. I forgot about that. Now I have to decide whether I really want to do this and take the chance of the spot being discolered and different than the rest of the field or leave it alone. The grils are removeable,the privous owner I think put velco strips on. Thanks.
