Hello to all sorts, I have this sub woofer, since yesterday I do not work anymore '.
I've tried changing the fuse but as soon as I insert the power supply the fuse blows.
What can 'be?
in theory, the warranty is for 5 years, but in Italy there is no assistance.
I got it from then mrdiaworld official distributor
thank you very much

Hello,
Welcome to Polk's forum. Is the subwoofer an "export" version or is the "domestic" version. If you're not sure can you tell me what the fuse values are, current and voltage?
Regards, Ken -
Hello, you DOMESTIC version.
The fuse is 800 but 250 v. .... I have changed from 5 to 800 m and 2 500 m but nothing, as soon as I plug the power supply does not turn on and skip 'anything.
thanks for help -

Hello,
The problem is more than just the AC fuse. The AC transformer has to be different to work with a higher voltage. You'll have to use a step down transformer to bring the 230V to 117v, then the sub will work properly.
Regards, Ken -
hello, my subwoofer is a model European retail at 220 volts and has always worked perfectly, presenting the problem now that I said above ...
What should I do?!?
grazieee -
Hello tinio,
Polk makes their subwoofers in two versions. One is called the "domestic" version and is intended for use with 117VAC and the second version is the "export" which operates at 220VAC. Which version do you have?
Regards, Ken -
