Hmmmm....thanks for posting.
I've been into Kief's a bunch of times over the years growing up not so far from Lawrence and then working for a few years in KC. Bought my first pair of serious speakers there...Martin Logan Sequel 2's. The old man demo'd me some stuff leading up that purchase too. I thought he was older way back then, over 20 years ago.
Speaking of ML....met Ron Sutherland there when he demo's a pre he made with a RC that had no buttons. And bought some music there of course.
Times are a changin'.
CJA so called science type proudly says... "I do realize that I would fool myself all the time, about listening conclusions and many other observations, if I did listen before buying. That’s why I don’t, I bought all of my current gear based on technical parameters alone, such as specs and measurements."
More amazing Internet Science Pink Panther wisdom..."My DAC has since been upgraded from Mark Levinson to Topping."
