I believe you WILL enjoy the concert.

see: The Dudek Finnigan Krueger Band http://skydogselysium.blogspot.com/2011/12/dudek-finnigan-krueger-band-live-1978.html

I've been into Mike Finnigan since the early 70s. I caught the DFK concert @ The Cotillion in Wichita, ~ '78.

"That reputation would place him in the studio with the Allman Brothers Band for the recording of the Brothers & Sisters album. He played guitar harmonies with Dickey Betts on the well-known song "Ramblin' Man" and acoustic guitar on "Jessica".[2]

His next stops were as a guitarist for Boz Scaggs and The Steve Miller Band.

As mentioned above he did some time with the Allman Brothers, I saw him open up for I believe Molly Hatchet or Point Blank back in the early 80s these are the only two I own on LP and haven't heard them in years. I think you are in for a treat, I didn't know he was still around.

Very cool. I'd love to see him. Had no idea he was touring. Say No More was played quite a bit in the old dorm room. Hope you'll post a few notes on the show. Have fun!

When Mike and the late Jerry Wood were together, I saw them many times in the Kansas City/Lawrence area. 'Crazed Hipsters' is on my top 10 favorite LP list for sure. Their cover of "Death Letter" is amazing. Still digging Mike's work with Taj and the Phantom Blues Band.

I got Mike to sign my copy of 'Crazed Hipsters' when the Phantom Blues Band played Cox Bros. BBQ here in Manhattan. He wanted to know where I'd gotten the LP, as he was amazed at its condition. I saw them play the Uptown Bar & Grill, we sat on top of a sheet of plywood atop a billiards table.

Last October, we saw Mike play with Bonnie Raitt on her Slipstream tour in the KC Power & Light District @ Midland Theatre. When we checked into the Phillips Hotel, he walked up to the desk & I introduced myself. He wanted to know why were there? "To see you play!"

PS: Mike, glad you caught the Dudek show!
