Dunno, I've never heard of it.

I have my name on a waiting list, that is about three months out. If I don't pick something up beforehand, I'll probably pull trigger.

They are a point-point, custom built dual input phono stage, sporting 6DJ8's made by Mark Voigt. -
Thats really sweet. I love that they have the adjustments on the front as I have a lot of different cartridges I play with. Whats the price?

I was quoted $975.00 about a month ago. Because of demand, they have gone up from $850.00 in the last year. Very little on the web about this pre, it's supposed to be very sweet from what little I've seen.
Talked with Mark, he says that only one owner that he is aware of, has sold one of these units after purchase. Guy moved out of the country and had Mark build him a 240 volt version, and sold his original.
I think Mark is known in the vintage world for his Scott rebuilds, he and his partner have designed and built this phono pre from scratch, incorporating some good components, all point-point assembly. If interested, send me your email addy via p.m. and I will forward you some info and more pictures. -
Thanks Mike! Sending pm now!

Mike Reeter,
Please talk to Mark Voigt about his line stage preamp. We need some info and picture. Here is Mark Voigt talking about the Magi.

I have spoken with Mark within the last month or so, I'm not so sure that he didn't tell me that he had quit building his line stage pre....either that or he no longer built a preamp with the phono stage included in the same unit. -
Hey mike are you able to p.m me with the contact deets for Mark Voight?
Thanks -
I just received my Magi Phonomenal from Mark a few weeks back. It's an amazing thing, stunning sound & fantastic build quality. Mark was very easy to deal with, only took payment when he was ready to build and turned it round in just a few weeks. I live in the UK and the shipping was surprisingly cheap and no nasty customs charges either. If you're umming and ahhhing about getting one, i would highly recommend you pull the trigger
