line on JBL 325A speakers

I know I don't need them and the Century series is way better but if I can get these on the cheap are they worth just to have? With that I have already told the guy what he was asking for was a fantasy and he readily agreed not knowing what they were worth. Also on the negative side over at AK a guy asked the same question and was told to pass because driving would not be cost effective vs. price of speaker. These are 5 minutes away he will h/u them up so I can hear them for an audition tomorrow. I already told him to be ready for an offer that might insult the crap out of him but I gave him the old anology of the new car off the lot and being devalued. He says he has stands and I'm not sure if they are matching or just generic. I never had vintage JBL before. So dudes what say thee.
