Acoustic Research M6 what can you tell me?

Has anyone ever heard the early 90s Acoustic Research M 6 floorstander?? What does it sound like or what can you compare/contrast it with? Thanks

    I have some M4's and a friend in our local "Low-Life Hi-Fi Club" has some M6's. The smallest M1 and M2's seem to be kind of a cult speaker due to low cost and "airy" holographic sound.

    The M4's and M6's both sound pretty good to me, and can usually be picked up really cheap. Not really "Polk" level of sound quality, or resale, but fun and interesting.

    My M4's are kind of cheap looking due to vinyl covered particle board cabinets, but the M6's are much nicer. I want to buy them from my friend for HT use because of their very small footprint.
