i am selling my personal 5 channel power amplifier. It is a lexicon 512 which is made by Bryston. This unit is the same unit as the 9bst(i own the 9bst in my home theater) and sounds amazing to say the least. I had it paired to my ls7s, lsic9s and lsi15s and it drove with ease. The amount of bass this amp produces makes you feel like you have your bass turned up!!! Simply incredible amplifier.
I will upload pictures of the unit show the it is in great shape. It is built like a tank.
One of the minor flaws is that one of the front panel led does not work, but all 5 channels work without any issues. Stunning sound, amazing soundstage and dynamics.
Price is $1200. I have great feedback on audiogon and ebay.
thanks again!

Bump. Price dropped to $1100 plus shipping. The only reason for this sale is because i already own the Bryston 9bst which is the SAME THING as the lexicon 512. I dont need both units. Pictures will be sent to those interested.

    Good morning,
i have had 3 members pm me asking me if i would be interested in selling the Bryston unit. To be totally honest, i am not interested simply because the asking price would be almost double the price of what i am selling the lexicon for and they are pretty much the same unit. Financially speaking, it makes more sense for me to sell the Bryston because i would get alot more for it since it has its original box that i paid 150 dollars for from Bryston a couple of weeks back so i can get a full upgrade done to it (which it makes a big difference i must say) and also it still carries 5 years left of warranty. This in itself would make the unit be worth much more than the lexicon, but it makes no sense for the buyer to pay almost double the price for my Bryston rather than getting the lexicon and calling it a day. I know from personal experience that if i said i wanted $1800 dollars for the bryston, most people would run the other way and i dont blame them because the lexicon can be had for much less. Thats simply why i rather avoid going through the hassle of explaining to every person my take on why i am not seling the Bryston.

So does the 5th channel work or not? A-gon ad says it doesn't, this ad says it does.

If I'm interested should I buy through a-gon to get the $799 price?

    OK people,
the 5th channel finally went south on me last night. I have dropped the price to 799 firm. This unit will sell fast at my new asking price so whoever submits paypal payment first takes it. The last lexicon 512 with 4 working channels sold on ebay for $1200 dollars just 6 days ago. This is your chance to take this piece off my hands at the lowest price it has ever been.
You won't find another unit with 4 good working channels at this price. Bryston says it is most likely a blown fuse which is typical of units of this age. I dont have the time to go through that right now so i will pass this great amp to someone who wants to save money.
    thank you

Wait...weren't you the one telling me that using eBay and A-Gon for pricing comparisons was stupid? LOL. I love your for sale threads...they always deliver in spades.

Say whatever you want . Your opinion is not important. My feedback on audiogon speaks for itself. No need to convince anyone of buying anything here.
If I sold fishy items, I wouldn't have that feedback on audiogon would I? I sell my equipment exactly as described and besides, if I shipped anyone an item that wasn't what I promised, PayPal protects the buyer more than the seller.
Please refrain from saying stupid comments without any actual evidence that I've stolen anything from anyone or have shipped an item that wasn't what I described. The He said she said or I heard this or that isn't really any credibility when my feedback FROM ACTUAL PEOPLE who BOUGHT stuff from me says the opposite.
If you don't feel what I'm selling is good enough then don't buy from me, but to do what you do on my sale isn't really right because me and you have never done business and you don't know of anyone PERSONALLY who's received something from me that wasn't what I promised. If it doesn't concern you in any way then stay out.

I'm not here to give anything away either. The funny part is that the chumps making stupid remarks are people who have never actually done business with me and had a FULL COMPLETE transaction with me where they took delivery of an item I sold. That's like accusing someone of being late or not paying his credit cards on time yet HIS CREDIT REPORT FROM ACTUAL CREDITORS SAYS THE OPPOSITE. Pretty incredible individuals out there who have nothing better to do and are probably bored at home with nothing better to do than to talk smack.

It's your business practices that are in question, here and at AVS. Yeah, I know more about you than you think I do. We self police this Flea Market and as such it is one of the safest places to do deals. What smells is the time line between your Audiogon ad and the one here. Tell ya what, I'll turn it over to the mods and let them decide what to do.

You know me ? Lol really? I didn't know I had a stalker . Tell the mods and inform your local police department too. I can send you my phone and address so they can come knock on my door. I'm doing nothing but selling my personal equipment which is STILL IN MY HANDS. AGAIN, if you have an issue, back it up with actual people who haven't received what I promise. Don't worry I'll wait til you find one.. oh wait , there isnt anybody!
