I have a new device that I had manufacturer tweek for my camera systems. The device comes default DHCP and I would like to set a static IP address using laptop via crossover cable. I can see the device on the network but can't access the UI via IP address in the windows device detail.

If I plug the device in on my home network I can log in to via explorer and access the web UI.

Any hints that I might try to connect to this device via direct connect crossover from laptop network port?

Thanks
Ron

It might work. I have read were folks are using crossover cables for the PS Audio DAC2 with Bridge. They report it worked. As for yours have already tried the crossover cable?

That would be great if it does. Keep us posted.
