MM465 on a MTX 2160 Thunder

I have a MM465 and a MTX 2160 Thunder amplifier rated at 80w @4 ohms X 2 RMS and the only adjustable settings are the gain and the EQ. Is it safe to use this speakers with the ampifier at its maximum gain setting? Is this amplifier any good for this spekers?

    Is the US Acoustics USX-2150 a good amp for the MM465, is rated at 150 X 2 @ 4Ohms, is it too much? I really don't wan't to blow up my speakers. I've heard that US Acoustics make very good amps for a very good price (this one is abuut $230).
