Each 5-7 years, you need to upgrade your receiver, that's why I stay with my SONY STR-DA4ES - OUTLAW 990 and use only RCA from my SONY BD and SAMSUNG player.

    YEAH! That's where we're heading. Forget about NUMBERS of channels. You won't need to HEAR anything acoustically, your BRAIN will!

    The only channel I would like to have more are channels for human voice only!.... I hate to listen a human voice over a big speaker with woofers and tweeter (also when the voice are so distorded in "RED TAIL" par exemple!....But almost perfect in "PEARL HARBOR")...The voice sound so real in a 3" full range driver like my CAMBRIDGE SOUNDWORKS sat. y use sometimes for test!
