Any opinions on this? I don't really need this but for $50 I thought it might be worth checking out.

    It's an excellent DVD player. It's just ok for SACD's and sucks for CD's.

    Had one. It was OK. Laser failures are common so bring a disc of each format to make sure they can all be read.
